Brian Colbert

Brian Colbert is regarded as one of Ireland's leading business consultants and trainers and is a key associate trainer at Create Express. Michael Comyn

Michael is a consultant, communications specialist, broadcaster and a key associate trainer at Create Express. He has 21 years training and executive coaching experience and holds an honours degree in management, a Master of Business Studies and a Diploma in Business Studies. Michael's specialities centre on influencing skills and rapport building and he uses these skills to develop teams and individuals either on a one to one basis or in-group training. He trains and coaches facilitation skills, communications, client relationship management and presentation skills for Create Express key clients.

Kevin Byron

Kevin received his Ph.D in Physics from the University of Hull and pursued a career in research and development in the telecommunications industry for some twenty five years. Whilst in industry he published over fifty patents, some eighty papers and co-authored two specialist books. In 2002 on being awarded a three year NESTA Fellowship he developed and delivered a range of workshops to local government managers, corporate managers and SME's. He is an international trainer and speaker and has presented at international conferences in Italy, Canada, the USA and South Africa. He is a co-author of the book 'The Alchemy of Innovation' and also wrote a monograph on Inventing and Problem-Solving published by the Institute for Cultural Research.

Darrell Mann

Darrell is a chartered mechanical engineer by background, having spent 15 years working at Rolls-Royce in various R&D related positions, and ultimately becoming responsible for the company's long term future helicopter engine strategy. He left the company in 1996 to first help set up a high technology company before entering a programme of systematic innovation research at the University of Bath. In 1998 he started teaching systematic innovation methods to both technical and business audiences, and to date has given courses to over 2000 delegates across a broad spectrum of industries and disciplines. In addition to teaching and researching, Darrell set up an IPR-based company in 1997 which currently has over 50 patentable inventions at various stages of exploitation. He consults regularly with companies around the world to solve problems or help exploit new opportunities.
